UTC’s Paul Amiss Wins ABA Title!

| Paul Amiss has been training hard over the last few months, his UTC boxing coach Darren has really put Paul to the test lately entering him into the ABA Championships, firstly Paul was entered into the Birmingham Championship which Paul won he then moved onto the Midland Championships which he also won which resulted in Paul qualifying for the ABA ENGLISH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP after defeating his opponent, Paul is now crowned as the English national champion at 60kg. "I knew I was going to have a hard fight in the national championships final as soon as I found out my opponent was going to be Connor Mulvey from London, Connor had knocked out all off his previous opponents, in the second round I remember being told that I needed to pick up my work rate and fight at a faster pace, I was able to pick up the pace and YES I WON" Paul would like to say a big thanks to his boxing coach Darren for putting him through a strict training programme and to UTC with there top class training facility. Congratulations Paul from all the Staff and Coaching team at UTC, all your hard work as definitely paid off Paul and we are all looking forward to what should be a spectacular 2010. GO BACK TO NEWS |
