UTC The UK's No.1 Premier Mixed Martial Arts & Fitness Facility

 

Due to popular demand UTC have started our after school martial arts kids classes. We have two childrens classes available, firstly the “UTC MMA Mighty Atoms” this class is for children aged between 5 & 8 years old, the second class is the “UTC MMA Future Champions” class & is for children aged between 9 & 14 years old. All classes are mixed so, both girls & boys are welcome to join any of the classes.

 

What's involved ?

Our children's classes are structured so that core skills are developed from an early age,these skills include balance,hand to eye co-ordination, speed, strength, agility,teamwork,and much more.

The children will be educated in good sportsmanship and respect for their classmates,our students will be taught to shake hands and conduct themselves in a friendly and sporting manner & will be actively encouraged to interact & have fun with other children alike.

 

When & Where ?

The classes are on a Monday & Wednesday every week, the “Mighty Atoms” classes start at 4.00pm & finish at 4.45pm. The “Future Champions” classes start at 5.00pm and finish at 5.45pm. The classes are twice a week and are of 45 minute duration. Parents can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee whilst watching your child in our chill out area, while your child partakes in the class.

 

What is Taught ?

The Martial arts skills taught at the centre include MMA ,Thai boxing, wrestling, boxing, Kickboxing and submission grappling. These are the basic martial arts elements that make up the grass roots of Mixed Martial Arts & are great base for an all round development.

 

Is it Safe ?

We do not allow head contact for small children as we feel it is unsafe even with head guards and it is very important to us that the students develop in a safe environment and enjoy their training. All equipment provided is child friendly & only Dollamur the worlds best protective matting is used in the facility to ensure the highest levels of safety & hygiene when training.

 

UTC Instructors ?

We know our instructors are role models to many children, that is why all our instructors have excellent motivational, communication & development skills that help make the classes both beneficial and fun. All instructors have been RCB certified by the governing board.

How Do I Get Started?

 

It's simple you can either pop in to the Ultimate Training Centre & one of our friendly staff members will give you a guided tour of the facility & once you feel you are happy to join the facility our staff members will set your kids membership up so you can start training the same day, alternatively if you require more information you can chat to a member of staff or pop down and watch a class.
